DESCRIPTION:Join the East Wake Women's Business Alliance on November 6th for our next event: Harvest Your Brand!\n\nThis panel style discussion will feature three masters of brand marketing offering diverse perspectives on creating and cultivating a personal or business brand. This was the MOST requested topic from our participants at the spring Rooted to Bloom event at Five County Stadium. We have a powerhouse panel and the discussion\, advice\, and feedback will be valuable tools you can take back to your business or team.\n\nWhether you're building a brand for your business or figuring out how to diversify yourself in your field\, this is one lunch you will not want to miss!\n\n \n\nOur panel includes:\n\nCarlie Rye\, Public Relations Manager\, Universal Chevrolet\n\nPublic Relations Manager from Universal Chevrolet\, Carlie Rye is a Professional Speaker\, Business Consultant\, and former morning radio personality.  She's worked with hundreds of local businesses\, and organizations.  Her favorite motto "you don't know\, what you don't know."  She will share different ways to get your name in front of people\, what she has seen work well for others\, and a few secrets of the trade when it comes to promoting and branding yourself.\n\n\n\nKristen Englehart\, Senior Director\, Brasco Marketing\n\nKristen's marketing experience spans over 15 years with extensive experience in brand management\, marketing strategy\, developing client partnerships\, leading agency teams\, and campaign planning and execution. Kristen has led work across a variety of industries   both B2B and B2C. She has also served on boards and committees of non-profits\, and was an adjunct professor at a college mentoring students who were interested in pursuing the marketing agency world.\n\n\n\nCaitlin Gooch- Director\, Saddle Up and Read\n\nCaitlin is the Founder and Director of Saddle Up and Read\, a nonprofit focused on helping kids read more and read better.  She has developed her brand as "The Black Cowgirl"\, which has been recognized by Oprah Winfrey and onto the Kelly Clarkson Show\, among others.  She has leveraged her experience with animals from an early age and her Degree in Sociology in creating her business and her brand.  Today\, she inspires thousands to let their light shine. \n\n \n\nThe discussion will be moderated by Katrece Boyd from NC Central University.\n\nKatrece leads innovation and economic mobility initiatives at North Carolina Central University\, driving growth for both the campus and the Durham community. A skilled business counselor and ICF-credentialed coach\, she is actively involved in advancing under-resourced communities through leadership roles with NC IDEA's Black Entrepreneurship Council\, Carolina Community Impact Inc.\, and Habitat for Humanity.
