DESCRIPTION:Time to bust out some holiday cheer and get ready for Wendell Wonderland on Friday\, December 2nd from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Wendell! A great night of events is in store\, including live music\, trolley rides\, the Wendell United Methodist's cookie walk\, Santa & Mrs. Claus\, a craft market\, axe throwing\, the Lake Myra Light Show\, a snow machine\, and a Toys for Tots Drive!\n\nEvery year beginning in November up until the Wendell Wonderland event\, the Town hosts a Marine Toys for Tots Drive. The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation coordinates with local social welfare agencies\, church groups\, and other local community agencies to distribute toys to children in need to help bring the joy of the holidays and send a message of hope to America's less fortunate children.\n\nStarting November 10th\, the Wendell Police Station\, Wendell Town Hall\, Wendell Public Works and the Wendell Community Center will have donation boxes in the lobby where you can donate new\, unwrapped toys for kids up to age 12.
